About Molly M Walters

I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (#157690) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Based in Southern California, I work with individuals navigating anxiety disorders, including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. My approach integrates evidence-based practices while respecting each client’s unique story, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based techniques.

My clinical training includes work with young adult populations and community mental health centers, including a psychiatric hospital in Prague. Having prior experience in the medical field, I am passionate about helping clients understand the brain-body connection, equipping them with tools that target both the racing mind and the tense body.

I believe recovery from anxiety and OCD is possible, not just in theory, but in lived experience. My role is to guide clients in building a life that feels freer, calmer, and more aligned with their values. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and practical, rooted in both science and compassion.

Outside the office, I draw inspiration from travel, art, and movement practices like yoga, which I integrate into my work when appropriate. These mind-body tools help clients reconnect with their sense of agency, resilience, and self-trust.

I currently provide therapy services under the supervision of Alegra Kastens, LMFT (#124277). You can learn more about our practice, The Center for OCD, Anxiety, and Eating Disorders, at https://ocdandanxietytherapy.com/
